	Dog Boarding at Aberdeen Acres Aberdeen Acres provides an upscale environment that is fun and safe, where dogs can play, romp and receive lots of love and attention. No matter how long your dog stays with us, you can rest assured they will receive individual, loving care. Here are just a few examples of the first-class amenities your dog will enjoy. Diet and Feeding At Aberdeen Acres we pride ourselves in feeding gourmet food products. Our canine guests eat a chicken breast and brown rice formula specifically formulated by veterinarians. Canned food is also available for geriatrics or finicky eaters. Clients are always welcome to bring their own food. Our computer keeps track of both regular and special diets, and we feed to owner specifications. Aberdeen Acres also has a Custom Kitchen where we prepare and serve sashimi, meat loaf, yogurt, chicken breast, and cottage cheese dishes when requested by discriminating owners. Medication and First Aid Aberdeen Acres maintains a fully stocked first aid locker and first responder supplies and equipment for emergency situations. Key members of staff are trained in animal CPR and basic animal first aid. Pets are transported to your veterinarian for any and all treatment, or to the local after-hours emergency animal hospital, located approximately 10 miles from our facility. Aberdeen Acres is not a veterinary hospital and does not provide veterinary services. Extra Large Accommodations Each canine suite has a spacious, climate-controlled indoor area as well as a large outdoor area for your dog to stretch and exercise. The suites are replenished with fresh water all day and in the evening. Your dog enjoys social play time in groups, organized according to each dog's size and temperament, and then returns to his suite to relax and nap. Cleaning and Sanitation Each day, every surface in each suite is cleaned and disinfected with a commercial grade disinfectant. This step kills odor-causing bacteria and viruses such as Parvo and Bordetella. This process leaves the facility smelling odor-neutral and promotes a healthy and safe environment for your pet. Bedding is washed and dried, if soiled or deemed unsanitary by staff. Vaccination Requirements All pets entering Aberdeen Acres Pet Care Center are required to be current on all required vaccinations. Our requirements for dogs are as follows: Rabies DHLPPC Bordetella Proof of vaccinations may be faxed to (540) 722-0189 prior to your arrival.
