Fixi continues to eat well and loves the Fancy Feast wet cat food served in the faux crystal dish. Some cats just have it made while their owners are on vacation. ]]> http://www.aberdeenacres.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=16 0 Training great dogs this week. http://www.aberdeenacres.com/blog/?p=5 http://www.aberdeenacres.com/blog/?p=5#comments Fri, 13 Nov 2009 06:22:47 +0000 Russ http://aberdeenacres.com/blog/?p=5 At Aberdeen Acres Pet Care Center and Resort in Winchester, VA, we are blessed this week to have several outstanding pets in for dog obedience training.  There are two German Shepherds and two Rottweilers.  Bosco, a five-year-old male German Shepherd is being trained in German, and the other three are being trained in English.  It is a bit of a challenge to keep all the words straight.  Doing what we love on an absolutely gorgeous day!  We groomed Bosco for this picture, lots of loose undercoat.  Awesome dog!!!  Purchased one of his puppies as an investment.  Tons of drive, outstanding temperament, very eager to please, lots of athletic ability and perfect health and structure.  The puppy arrives mid-December and will start Puppy Training in January 2010.  If the pup has his father’s ability, we will train him to track, on and off-leash obedience, agility and maybe protection.  More pictures of Bosco are available on our Facebook page.  Bosco is also boarding at Aberdeen Acres while he is being trained. ]]> http://www.aberdeenacres.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=5 3
